I don't think it is in bad taste exactly, but more likely just lacking in taste. If i were trying to top them i would be looking for a Bill Henson image next. As to ownership, i would assume that offending people who use clandestine actions would not be a clever move, as these guys are often very talented at what they do. But i would like to see someone sue for copyright over an image that was "illegally" placed, i am thinking that if you broke the law to make the piece you wouldn't have a leg to stand on in court. But also the original stencil has been created from the viewing of other images or videos, where does that line stop exactley?
